Hello World,
Apparently that is how you are supposed to start a blog. My name is Willow. I am an 18 month old German Shepherd. My mom says I am a very beautiful Princess and I do lots and lots of Princess things. My coat very long, black and shiny with dark red highlights. My tail is long and flowing. I have a territory that I rein over called The Deep Forest and I protect my people. I have many duties as a princess as you will see as you follow us.
I had a beautiful 13-year-old sister named Sammi. Sammi raised me and taught me everything she knew but one day a few months ago she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. My mom and dad were very, very sad because Sammi was such a special girl.
I began to be very afraid after Sammi left us because she wasn't there to protect me any longer. I was scared to walk on our wood floors, I didn't want mom to leave my sight and things startled me very easily. I would lie on Sammi's bed and cry my little heart out. Mom held me and said she put our name on a waiting list to get a new companion but it probably would not be until spring.
One day soon after that mom told me she had a surprise for me. It turns out my new companion was ready much sooner and mom said it was meant to be.
And so the adventures begin...
