No, no, NOOOOOO!!!! This can’t be happening! This is such bad luck and Princesses are not supposed to have bad luck. I have to find it! I have looked everywhere. I have looked high. I have looked low. I have looked over and I have looked under. It is nowhere to be found.
I am not giving up. I will find it and put it right back where it belongs.
The thief that stole Baby Brother’s rat tail and replaced it with this big, bushy, fake tail is going to be one UNLUCKY thief when I catch him. Baby Brother can’t have a big, beautiful tail like mine if he is “Sage the Mighty Mole Slayer”. Everyone knows Mole Slayers have rat tails….ewww.
If Baby Brother finds out he has a big beautiful tail he will think he is a Prince! He will start strutting around and acting all royal. A royal pain in my tail so I have to find his missing rat tail fast.
This has now turned into a search and rescue mission. Search for the rat tail and rescue me from Prince Sage’s ego.
Maybe it’s in our toy box. Yes, that has to be it! Baby Brother loves toys and he shakes them really hard. Maybe he shook so hard his rat tail fell right off and the thief hid it in the toy box and plans to return for it later. He will be quite surprised when he returns and it is not where is hid it. He will find me instead, waiting to jump on him. It will be his very UNLUCKY day.
There are so many toys in here. Is it here…or here? Maybe it’s under this one.
Oh, here it is! No that’s a rope not a rat tail. Agghhh! I must dig deeper and use my nose because Baby Brother’s tail smells really bad. Pee-yew YUCK but that should make it super easy to find.
Rats it’s not here. This is just terrible. Where could it be? I have to find it before the thief returns for it.
I have to pin the rat tail on the Mole Slayer and right this wrong doing.
He is going to be one very unlucky thief when I find that tail! He will be lucky if I don’t pin it on him instead.
I know!!! The refrigerator! The boy is ALWAYS hungry so yep that is where I will find it!!
Right in here probably under the cheese. Okay maybe under the chicken.
Foiled again! It’s not in here either.
I thought for sure my bad luck was about to end. I thought for sure the thief caught Baby Brother’s nose deep in a tub of cottage cheese and plucked his rat tail right off and hid it in the fridge while Baby Brother was in a food coma.
Food comas happen a lot with Baby Brother… sigh
Okay, okay, okay take a deep breath. Look around and concentrate. It has to be here. Where is baby brother’s favorite place in the wolf castle? I know! It’s where the Queen sleeps!
{Grunt, groan, moan}
It’s so tight under here. I need to wiggle a little harder. It’s soooooo dark under here. I can just barely see but I don’t see a rat tail. Wait a minute! I see some of my toys that little brat hid from me!
{Sniff, sniff, sniff}
I don’t smell it either. Well super mega rats!!!
Think Willow, think! Where would a thief hide your Baby Brother’s tail? He obviously hid it someplace that you can’t smell it.
Look! What is that? It’s long, it’s thin, it’s brown, IT’S A RAT TAIL!
I found it! YESSSSSS. But why would it be in there? Baby Brother won’t go near that aquarium.
“Sage the Mighty Mole Slayer” is the biggest scaredy cat in the whole Deep Forest. He thinks those big ole fish want to eat him. He wouldn’t get close enough for that thief to snatch his little rat worm tail and use it for fish bait.
I must go check this out. Aggghhhh it’s just a piece of driftwood. Sigh.
Nooooo mom I don’t have time for a bath right now. I have super sleuth work to do. Mom please…. (Splash, shake, shake, SCREAM) Ahhhhhhhh!!!! I found it. That thief stuck it on me! He switched our tails and that tail on Baby Brother is no fake tail. It is MY TAIL!!!!!
MOM!!!! Mom a thief stole Baby Brother’s rat tail and pinned it on me!!!!
MOOOMMM I NEED HELP!!!!
My bad luck has turned into a nightmare and I need you to help me get my tail back!
That thief will wish he had never messed with our tails once The Queen gets ahold of him.
She will take him by the scruff of his neck and toss him in my kennel for a very long time. His luck is about to run out. He is about to be one VERY UNLUCKY thief indeed.
Here she comes and you are in big trouble Mr. Thief.
Huh? What do you mean there is not a thief?
What do you mean that big fluffy tail is really Baby Brother’s and I still have my big fluffy tail?
Can’t you see this skinny little rat tail pinned on my rump! What is happening?
Mom and I had a nice long talk. She reassured me that all of this is a normal part of growing up and that our bodies change as we get older.
She dried my tail and sure enough it was as fluffy and beautiful as it ever was.
She told me that Baby Brother has always been Prince Sage but he is young and thinks that being a Mole Slayer sounds super cool.
That means that nothing has really changed at all.
Maybe I will get lucky and Baby Brother will always think being a Mole Slayer is super cool and he will never ever realize he is a full-fledged prince because I don’t need a royal pain in my tail.
As far as that thief, he is very LUCKY he’s not real because he was going to be the UNLUCKIEST thief that ever existed.
Nobody messes with my princess tail
~~Princess Willow~~
Oh, good grief. That girl really needs to settle her bushy tail down.
Everyone knows I am Sage the Mighty Mole Slayer.
I have no desire to be a Prince or a royal pain in her tail.
I am perfectly happy being Sage the Mighty Mole Slayer. That is until I am bigger and stronger and then…
I will be KING. KING OF THE WORLD! BaHaHa
King Sage,
now that has a nice ring (wink)
~~Sage the Mighty Mole Slayer~~
