I would like to take you on a tour of our Royal Spa.
This is where we have all of our spa treatments, royal baths and get ready for all royal events. It is one of the most beautiful rooms in the royal castle. The Queen (my mom) and I love spending time in this room. It is a very relaxing place to be with lots of ambiance.
When we get up in the morning this is where we go and have our morning snuggle time before Baby Brother wakes up. I get head scratches, belly rubs, ear sagges, neck scritches, and tail smoothies. I love this special time with The Queen while she is getting ready for her royal day.
The Queen loves to soak in the bathtub. She says it makes her skin very soft and smooth and royalty must always have soft smooth skin. I take my royal bath in this beautiful shower. I don't take too many baths though because they dry my skin out and I prefer mud baths anyways. 😉
There is one part of this room that is very important. It is so important that it is secluded from that main part of the Royal Spa.
It is the Royal Throne.
Only The Queen sits on the Royal Throne. This is where she conducts all of her royal bussiness.
I must go and stay with her while she takes care of the royal business. Someday the Royal Throne will be mine to sit upon so I need to learn everything I can about eliminating the toxins of the royal system.
Baby Brother thinks he needs to follow US every time WE go to the Royal Throne but The Queen and I need OUR privacy.
The Queen has very important business to take care of and she needs to concentrate...HARD. WE don't need him interfering while WE are at the Royal Throne. He thinks he needs to be a part of the royal business. I think he's nosey and it's so annoying.
Mom says Baby Brother is a Royal Prince but I think he is a ROYAL pain in my tail.
Every time I turn around there he is. If WE close the door WE can hear him sniffing to make sure we are in there.
Then he tries to stick his ginormous paw through the door. Like he thinks WE can't take care of business without him.
WE are perfectly capable of making sure everything comes out just right.
Baby Brother says he has this overwhelming need to protect US when WE go to the Royal Throne. Does he think we are going to be attacked by swamp monsters or something?
Just perfect, he has broken The Queen's concentration. WE have not had the Royal Flush yet so that means WE have unfinished business to take care of. Usually, her work is a steady stream that flows along smoothly but sometimes she has to really bear down to get the job done.
These distractions must be eliminated. The Royal Baby brother needs to be dealt with before all of our royal work is flushed right down the toilet.
I will just lock him in the Royal Shower so The Queen can push through the rest of her work in private with me.
Maybe now we can get onto the paperwork and I can go practice my Princess Prancing in the snow.

They say if you have a German Shepherd you will never fuse the restroom alone EVER again. It is the absolute truth. It does not matter how sneaky I am one or both will follow me. 😂
If I close the door they will try to get in and if I don't open the door they will lean against it.
It is said that they do this instinctually. Going to the bathroom in the wild leaves a dog vulnerable so the other pack members watch over them while they eliminate. This has carried over into the instincts of the domesticated dog. It is the same reason they look at you while they eliminate. They are watching you so they know everything is okay and the are safe.
